Account & Profile

How do I delete my account?

  1. Open Meetflyte and go to Settings (gear icon, bottom-right).
  2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm deletion. Your profile, photos, and messages will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Alternatively, email [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address linked to your account.

I can't log in. What should I do?

  • Tap Forgot Password on the login screen to reset your password via email.
  • If you signed up with Apple, make sure you're using the same Apple ID.
  • Check that your internet connection is active.
  • If the issue persists, email us at [email protected] with your registered email address.

How do I update my profile or photos?

Tap your profile photo on the Discover tab or go to Settings → Edit Profile. You can update your name, bio, photos, destinations, and travel dates at any time.

Matching

How does matching work?

Meetflyte shows you a stack of travelers who share your destination, travel dates, and travel style. Swipe right on profiles you'd like to connect with. When both of you swipe right, it's a match — a private chat opens automatically so you can start planning.

How many swipes do I get per day?

Free accounts have a daily swipe limit of 20. Premium subscribers get unlimited swipes. The limit resets at midnight UTC.

I matched with someone but can't find our chat.

Open the Matches tab (heart icon). Tap the match to open your conversation. If the match isn't visible, the other user may have removed their account.

Can I un-match someone?

Yes. Open the conversation, tap the three-dot menu (top-right), and select Unmatch. This removes the match and the conversation for both parties.

Groups

How do I join a group?

From the Groups tab, browse open groups and tap Request to Join. The group admin will approve or decline your request. You can also be added directly by a group admin.

How do I create a group?

Tap the + button on the Groups tab. Set a group name, description, destination, and travel dates. You can make the group open (anyone can request to join) or private (invite only).

Subscriptions & Billing

What's included in a premium subscription?

Premium removes the daily swipe limit and unlocks additional profile filters. Pricing is shown in the app under Settings → Meetflyte Premium.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Meetflyte subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions.
  3. Select Meetflyte and tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We cannot process refunds directly — contact Apple Support for billing disputes.

I was charged but I'm not getting premium features.

Restore your purchase: go to Settings → Meetflyte Premium → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, email [email protected] with your Apple Order ID (found in your App Store receipt email).

Safety & Reporting

How do I report a user?

  1. Open the user's profile or conversation.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (top-right).
  3. Select Report and choose the reason.

Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. We take safety seriously and will take appropriate action including warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

How do I block someone?

On the same three-dot menu, tap Block. A blocked user cannot see your profile, send you messages, or match with you.

I feel unsafe. What should I do?

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. To report a safety issue to us, email [email protected] with as much detail as possible.
